Balancing out 2022

If financial or payment related goals are on your New Year’s resolutions list, you’re in good company! In fact, balancing debts has been a mainstay of goals for a new year since the Babylonians came up with the concept about 4000 years ago.

It’s on Peloton’s list all the time. It’s what we do – strive to make payments a little easier. We work with clients in hopes that they have no resolutions around payments. We’ve got some pretty hard working go getters making sure we do:

I’m super excited to hopefully attend the University Forum for Human Resource Development Conference this year! As well, I discovered the app Todoist and love it –  and it may just help me meet my goal of getting more stuff over the finish line.” – Allison Betton, Chief Human Resources Officer

Last year I had an incredible experience at the world’s largest FinTech conference, Money 20/20 in Las Vegas, and made amazing connections for Peloton Technologies. This year, I’m looking forward to attending more conferences and continuing to grow our global partnerships network.” Nicole Mackie, Head of Global Partnerships

What’s even better for us is if clients can get back to doing everything else. We hope resolutions aren’t always about work. Take a look at some of these:

“My goal is to spend more time unplugged and have a better work life balance. I bought an off-grid place last year, and am hoping to spend more time there, living with less modern conveniences and connecting with nature.” – Darryl Anderson, Co-Founder and Executive Director, Chief of Operations

“This year I’m working towards being healthier with food and exercise, and professionally, I want to deliver more projects and execute ideas with the development team.” – Marcio Arakaki, Software Engineer

“This year I’m looking forward to practicing more mindfulness in my life, reading more books, taking daily walks and enjoying the little things.” – Sumeyyah Mir, Account Manager

All in all, 2022 was a busy year for us. And still some of team is gearing up to do more:

“My plan for 2023 is to continue to improve workflows and organization for the Marketing team so that we can efficiently complete our objectives while maintaining healthy work/life balances, giving us more energy to think creatively and reach even higher goals. Personally, I’m trying to make the most of the “life” part of the balance and make more time for the interests that I’ve been neglecting.” – Perri Read, Marketing Manager

“This year I’d like to truly develop my copywriting skills for our blogs and social media and website copy, and level up my WordPress skills. On the personal side, I’m super excited to be improving my skiing this season!”  – Emma Hanna, Marketing Assistant Co-op

“I’m planning to do something new each month – learning a new skill, going to a place I’ve never been, trying new recipes, and am currently learning how to play my dad’s acoustic guitar. I’m looking forward to spending the rest of the year trying out some gardening and playing pickleball!” – Ashley Drew, Human Resources Advisor
